As loneliness becomes an epidemic among the among the aging population due to factors such as lack of contact with friends, families, and loved ones, we wish to bring more happiness and joy into their lives. We aim to do this by sharing our passion through music and creating connections with the seniors.
Music is the universal language, and is one best ways to connect people. No matter what language you speak, where you are from, or what age you are, music unites our experiences, joys, sorrows, and everything in between. At one of our senior centers, a resident named Daisy enjoys playing piano for us after our performances. Even though she doesn't know how to speak English, we can talk through the language of music!

Founded in June of 2023, Link-age is a group of youth musicians based in San Francisco. Our members range from ages 10-18 and play a variety of instruments, from the violin, to the piano, to the saxophone, to the guitar. We volunteer at senior centers around the Bay Area, playing music and forming connections with our aging community.Â
